Glico Alimentos Ltda. was founded in 1978, located in Osasco city, close to Castelo Branco Highway Km17, nearby the São Paulo county. It was a small start with imported technology from Japan, adapting the products to the Brazilian market. Ebicen was our first product and it is still a big success.

In 1983, the construction of a new building enabled us to diversify our product line. So, 3Millon and Glico Snack came right after. This new building allowed us to improve our overall production efficiency, when we changed from manual packaging to an automated packaging line. Next year, plans are to increase product lines and expand distribution area, including other countries.
   
 
 
 
 
  All company operations are based on its only site at R. Frei Gaspar, 679. Once all sections are very close -- manufacturing, management, sales and logistics work quite well, complying with consumer needs. Our own delivery fleet distribute mainly in the São Paulo metropolitan area, which is our current distribution area.
 
  Despite a strong manufacturing profile, our employees concentrate on sales and distribution (over 30 people). Production people is only half of our man power (today we are about 80 people).

Our management and staff are quite small and effective, allowing us to centralize all major operations -- that has been one of the key points of our company. Security, accounting and attorney offices are supplied by third-party companies.
